Hello there, lovely readers! Today, I want to take a moment to introduce myself and share my journey as a graphic designer. My name is Maria Jose Valdes, but feel free to call me Maria. I hail from the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico.

Before diving into the captivating world of graphic design, I embarked on a brief but enlightening adventure in architecture. However, my heart had always yearned for a career in fashion design. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a specialized university offering that course in Guadalajara. Nevertheless, life took an exciting turn, leading me down the path of graphic design.

Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of working in four esteemed marketing agencies. My focus predominantly revolved around digital media, allowing me to adapt and thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of technology and design.

When the unfortunate impact of COVID-19 hit, one of the companies I worked for faced financial challenges, leading to delayed payments. In search of stability and the desire to make a living doing what I love, I decided to take a leap of faith and venture into the world of freelancing. After all, life is all about making the best of every situation, right?

Thus, MV Creative Studio was born. The name may not scream originality, but it perfectly captures the essence of who I am and what I do. As time was of the essence, I utilized a logo I had crafted during my university years for a personal branding assignment. Little did I know that this seemingly small decision would ignite a fire within me and set the stage for my true passion: branding.

Starting with modest projects, I gradually gained momentum, handling the entire brand identity process from start to finish. The more I delved into the intricate art of branding, the more my love for it grew. I devoted myself to honing my skills, seeking out courses and books to enhance my knowledge in this captivating field.

To date, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with over 20 diverse brands. However, this is just the beginning of my journey. The thrill of helping businesses discover their unique identity, crafting compelling visual narratives, and leaving a lasting impact on their target audience fills my soul with immense joy and satisfaction.

As I embark on this new chapter of my career, launching my own website and sharing my creative endeavors with the world, I cannot help but feel a sense of excitement.
